Our year 11 pupils are currently tackling the toughest school year of their lives, dealing with the pressure of completing coursework, meeting deadlines, revising and preparing for exams.

It is all the more impressive then that they have found the time to give their time and efforts so selflessly to lead our school charity 'When you wish upon a Star'. Y11s have volunteered for and helped organise a bush tucker trial, sponge the teacher, a bag pack at Tesco, cake sales and other fundraising events. They have set a wonderful example to the younger pupils and to date have raised over £4200 which is half of the target amount! This puts the Y11 charity on course to succeed in their aim of sending a family whose child has a life-limiting illness on a holiday of a lifetime together.

Well done so far and keep up the good work!
