Year 7 Burrs Activity Trip

Burrs strengthen school bond

As part of the programme of transition our Year 7 visited Burrs Activity Centre at the start of October.

The children took part in 4 activities: kayaking, river crossing, high ropes and problem solving. The children went to Burrs in their form groups with their form teachers with the aim of further strengthening the bonds that had developed in their first month at school.

The children’s behaviour was excellent and they were Sensible, Thoughtful, Ambitious , Respectful and Supportive in all the activities they took part in. Definitely Walkden STARS already !!
