On Saturday, 13th December a large number of students gave up their time to take part in a charity bag pack at TESCO in Walkden from 9.30 a.m. until 4.00 p.m.

The final total raised was a magnificent £705.30p. A big thank you must go to the generosity of the customers of TESCO for their charitable donations.

Students were a credit to themselves, their parents and the school. The students involved were:-

Kyle Lawler, Jordan Fenny, Alisha Allen,
Amy Eaton, Kadie Thompson, Olivia Kennedy,
Jacob Beaver, Kendall Cassidy, Rebecca Fielding,
Ben Moseley, Ian Charlesworth, Rachel Rutherford,
Madison Bevons, Isabelle Watson, Rebecca Devney,
Jack Carr, Georgina Thomas, Jessica Beasant,
Megan Williams, Daniel Garvey, Reece Hayhurst,
Ryan Lord, Nicole Minister, Georgina Deignan,
Tiffany Horrabin

Together since the launch of the charity we have raised a total of £4178.30p. This is a fantastic achievement from the whole school community.

With continued fund raising activities in the new year I am confident we will reach our target of £7000 which will then enable When You Wish Upon A Star to give a holiday of a life time to a "poorly" child and their family to Florida.

Thank you for all your support.

Mr Moseley
