Plans to improve key areas of concern

Continuing to work relentlessly in the interests of your child.

Following our recent Ofsted inspection we are putting together plans to improve the school in the key areas of concern raised by the inspection team. These key areas are:

  • Improve rates of progress for all pupils, but particularly the most able and disadvantaged pupils
  • Lift our expectations of pupils to deal with low level disruption in class
  • Improve the attendance of disadvantaged pupils
  • Improve the challenge to the Senior Leadership Team from Governors

Our plans will be complete in the near future and I will be in touch with you soon to invite you in to listen to our plans to remove these concerns and to allow you to ask me questions about what this means for your child.

In the meantime, rest assured, that we continue to work relentlessly in the interests of your child. This is what we were doing before January 13th and what we will always do.
