Manchester Met University Dance Project

Congratulations to the pupils who took part in a dance project funded and coordinated by Manchester University.

The girls visited the Manchester University to research the experience of the youth in World War 1 and then choreographed and planned a dance piece to represent the lost Youth. The University provided the costumes, brought a green screen and hired a freelance film maker to produce a high quality film which will premier in September at Manchester University. It was a fantastic experience for the girls. Filming was a full day for a 3 minute dance piece and the girls were so patient with re-shooting the different camera angles.

Well done to the following.

Yasmine Mitchell, Katie Barlow, Polly Graves, Alex Reidy, Lucy Fisher, Isobel Cropper,
Emily Eyres, Ella Fairhurst
