Drop Off - Polite Reminder

Keeping our children safe

Can I take this opportunity to remind parents who drop their children off by car to respect our neighbour’s drive ways and to take note of the parking restrictions and speed limits. A convenient place to park or turn your car might create a very dangerous situation for a child. We all want our children to be safe so please be considerate.

Mere Clough Avenue is a very small street and many of our students enter and leave school on foot this way. Can I ask that you do not drive down Mere Clough in the morning or afternoon so that our children are safe.

If you are dropping off or picking your child up from school please do not drive onto the school premises. There is not enough space for cars to do this and over recent weeks it has become dangerous, not only for our children but for staff leaving the premises and visitors in school on business.

If you are visiting school for any reason, please be respectful and do not park in the disabled parking bays.

These are dedicated spaced for cars with disabled badges.
